About Us

Pete Zappi, Sr. started Zappi Oil & Gas in 1972 out of his home in Washington, PA.  He did it all – purchasing, billing, and when he wasn’t on the road making deliveries with his one truck, he answered telephones.  Soon his son, Pete Zappi, Jr. got involved. “Whatever needed to be done, we did,” he said, as Zappi Oil & Gas grew into its current headquarters in Washington, PA.

Today, the business consists of 20 local delivery trucks, eight tractors, 25 trailers, 45 full-time employees, and three locations.

Besides the main office in Washington, Zappi Oil & Gas has offices at Dallas Pike, opened in 1997, and in Carmichael, PA, opened in 2003.  The sites allow the company to serve residences and businesses in Washington, Greene and Fayette counties, and in parts of Allegheny and Westmoreland counties.

Zappi Oil & Gas is also involved in its local communities, such as sponsoring youth activities and donating to fairs and other events.
